The Plantation's EMA Director is available by appointment. Covid-19 and other public health and safety questions, concerns and comments related to Monhegan can be shared and discussed.

Origin and Purpose of Monhegan COVID-19 Task Force:
On March 17th, 2020, the Monhegan COVID-19 Task Force was formed to support municipal departments through the COVID-19 pandemic by following the latest recommendations coming from the Federal and Maine Centers for Disease Control in order to support all residents of Monhegan Island.
The Task Force is here to work with the Monhegan community to do everything we possibly can to assist however possible through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Currently, the Monhegan COVID-19 Task Force is composed of:
EMA Director Jes Stevens, First Assessor and Local Health Officer Jim Buccheri; Second Assessor Andrew Dalrymple; Monhegan School Committee Member Mary Weber; Superintendent of Schools Tonya Arnold; Mott Feibusch; Fire Chief Kole Lord(on an as needed basis); Constable Matt Weber.
